NOTES:

1. Time control is 34 moves in 70 minutes, with 15 minutes additional time for each player for a quickplay finish.
2. The first named player has White and has the responsibility to contact his/her opponent to arrange the game.  Please attempt to play the game by the given date.  Games can be played before the due date for previous rounds if desired.  If circumstances mean that it is difficult to meet the dates, the tournament controller should be informed.
3. Results are to be given by the winner, or White if drawn, to the tournament controller, whose decisions on anydisputes are final.
4. In the event of a points tie (a) The winner will be determined by the result(s) of the game(s) between the players tying, (b) If players are still tied then the Wallace system will be used to determine a sole winner. This deducts from the final scores of the tied players, their individual scores against the lowest-placed player. If they are still tied, scores against the next lowest placed player are deducted and so on, (c) If the scores are still tied after both (a) and (b) there will be a play-off to decide the winner. The first play-off game will be under the normal time control with colours reversed from the previous game. Subsequent play-off games will be with both players having 30 minutes in each game until a winner is decided, with colours reversing each time.
